Lecture on the Qur'an and Modern Science

Dear readers and participants we are preparing a one and a half hour session this month on the Qur'an and modern science. In the session we will debunk the famous claims of modern Muslim missionaries that the Qur'an predicts modern science.

This first lecture will concentrate on the Qur'an and cosmology in particular. God willing a lecture on the Qur'an, biology and earth science will follow later.

And God willing the lecture will be available on the internet in July.

The topics include:

The Qur'an and the Big Bang theory
The Qur'an insight into the gasseous universe
The Qur'an and the Expansion of the Universe
The Qur'an and the world of atoms
The Seven heavens and seven earths in the Qur'an
The Solar orbit in the Qur'an

Define misinformation?

To you information, this field is still on its beginning level within the realm of apologetics.

Muslims have for decades exclaimed that the Qur'an contains predictions of modern science. Yet so far all these claims have been effectively refuted.

Qur'anic science is not miracolous, its totally separated from modern science and at best connected with pre-islamic ideas.

Most of my studies on the topic are fairly original, I need scrutinize some of the source further before I launch unto the youtube.

A response and challenge to those who oppose the Christian faith.
